Rachel Ruysch
Rachel Ruysch (1664-1750) was the most celebrated flower painter of the Dutch Golden Age and outsold most of her male contemporaries in her own lifetime. Her bouquets are impossible by design, blooms from different seasons gathered against a dark ground, each petal and insect observed with a naturalist's precision. The result is opulence with a scientist's discipline behind it. These are natural pieces for a dining room or entry. Every work is reproduced on museum-grade cotton canvas with archival giclee printing, printed to order and hand-framed in your choice of Gold, Silver, or Charcoal, sized Small through Estate.
