Elizabeth Blackwell

Elizabeth Blackwell (1707-1758) drew, engraved and hand-coloured all 500 plates of A Curious Herbal herself, working from live specimens at the Chelsea Physic Garden to raise the money that freed her husband from debtors' prison. The plates are exact enough to have served physicians for a century and decorative enough to hang as a set. Every work is reproduced on museum-grade cotton canvas with archival giclee printing, printed to order and hand-framed in your choice of Gold, Silver, or Charcoal, sized Small through Estate.
